East Montgomery is a numero-flexible musical outfit that emerged when multi-instrumentalist Morgan East and drummer Jay K home-recorded an EP called ‘Flash in the Pan.’

Since then, East Montgomery has evolved into an outfit typically consisting of drums, percussion, trumpet, bass, keyboards/synthesizers, and guitar. (We’ve put nine people on a stage before)

Through three years of experimentation, one thing has become apparent:

The band exists to actively pursue a state of spiritual bliss through music.

There is an unseen, purely sensational realm of existence in which our consciousness are connected. It is possible to experience this realm in our present human condition.

In a natural state, there is a great distance between the realm of the flesh and this realm of sensation. we are here to shorten that distance with our music, and take you there with us
