As independent artists ourselves, we believe in paying it forward. Gatekeeping information is not a sustainable practice, and community is the most important thing we have. In his own words Morgan believes,

“I’ve made a lot of mistakes as an independent artist. My ego drove my decisions. I wanted results but I did not know how to achieve them. I thought I did, but I was wrong. I was signed to an artist management company in Chicago for a brief period of time in 2021. I learned about branding, market research, and artist development but most importantly I learned the importance of copyrights and publishing. I’m happy to share with everyone a document that has a lot of (loosely) organized information that I update frequently. Take it and run with it. And if you decide you’d like help in transcribing your songs from audio to paper, I have Finale and time to do that for you!”

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
